Congressional Candidate Stephen Brown has received the 4th District endorsement from FreedomWorks, a national conservative advocacy group. The distinction sets Brown apart from the other 12 candidates in the race, nodding to him as favorite to replace retiring Congressman Trey Gowdy.
I am honored to receive this endorsement from FreedomWorks. It is significant because it recognizes my long-held public commitment to the core beliefs of constitutionally limited government, individual liberty, and free market capitalism. I entered this race prepared to serve as a conservative voice of reason to represent the people of the 4th Congressional District in Washington, and I am grateful for the recognition from FreedomWorks,
FreedomWorks for America’s Executive Director, Noah Wall, commented,
This GOP primary field is extremely crowded, so it’s important to distinguish the true conservatives from the establishment politicians.
Stephen Brown puts the Constitution over political games, a quality that has earned him strong grassroots support across the district.
District activists asked us to get involved in this race because they believe Stephen Brown is the only credible replacement for Rep. Gowdy. He’s the conservative voice of reason that Congress desperately needs.
South Carolina’s Primary election will take place on Tuesday, June 12.
