Simpsonville, South Carolina – Leadership Simpsonville, the leadership development program of the Simpsonville Area Chamber of Commerce, announces this year’s graduating class. Ten Simpsonville-area professionals will be recognized at the Chamber’s Annual Banquet on March 15, 2018:

For their philanthropic project, the Leadership Simpsonville class partnered with the Center for Community Services (CCS) to initiate a fundraiser to enhance the medical waiting area of the free medical clinic. The Center for Community Services provides free medical services and WIC assistance to families throughout Simpsonville and the Golden Strip area.
“As community leaders, we must work to enhance the lives of our area citizens. This opportunity to contribute to CCS for their future improvements will ultimately touch hundreds of Simpsonville area family members who count on this vital community organization”, says Leadership Simpsonville class leader Drew Rice of Park Sterling Bank. $11,807 dollars have been raised thus far. Contributions may be made at Leadership Simpsonville’s fundraising website.
The Simpsonville Area Chamber has a strong history of developing community leaders by providing the annual Leadership Simpsonville program. In a ten-month class, corporate and community leaders learn, engage and positively impact challenging issues and opportunities facing Simpsonville. Applications for the Leadership Simpsonville’s 2018 – 2019 class are accepted through March 30, 2018. The class begins in May.
