The 2017 Leadership Simpsonville class, organized by the Simpsonville Area Chamber of Commerce, has chosen to partner with the Center for Community Services to enhance the medical waiting area in their free medical clinic. The Center for Community Services (CCS) uses this medical facility to offer free medical services and WIC assistance to hundreds of families throughout Simpsonville and the Golden Strip area. This project is a small part of a much larger goal to enhance the entire medical facility, making the space more functional, safer and welcoming to its clients. Leadership Simpsonville is working to raise $15,000.00 to support this initial project stage.
Leadership Simpsonville participants work together to choose a philanthropic project to positively impact the Simpsonville area and surrounding communities. This year’s endeavor with CCS is no exception, as the successful completion of the medical waiting area will impact hundreds of families living below the poverty line in greater Simpsonville.
