A date has been set for completion of the Miller Road bridge replacement in Mauldin. The City of Mauldin released an update on the project:
Miller Road Bridge Replacement
SCDOT’s Assistant District Maintenance Engineer, Chris Madden, anticipates that the Miller Road Bridge replacement construction will be completed and the bridge open by the evening of July 21, 2017.
Laurens Electric Cooperative, Inc. is currently cutting trees within the area to relocate their power lines for the bridge construction activities. They are scheduled to be complete by July 17, 2017. Once they have finished, SCDOT will need approximately one week to set the bridge and repave the road deck. All bridge materials have been obtained and are being made ready for the project construction activities.
