On Friday, June 2nd and Saturday, June 3rd, deputies from the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office and officers from the Greenville City Police Department will be partnering with Chick-fil-A on Laurens Road, for “Cops on the Coop”. The campaign is the first in Greenville County and is designed to bring awareness and raise money for the Special Olympics South Carolina. Beginning at 7:00am, officers and deputies will be on the roof of Chick-fil-A, in an effort to express support for the organization and solicit donations that will benefit the 25,588 athletes in their year-round competitions.
Customers, who purchase the 2018 Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics T-shirt for $20, will receive a complimentary coupon for a Chick-fil-A sandwich. Customers may wish to simply make a donation without purchasing a T-shirt.
