The Fair at Heritage Park opens Thursday at 4pm, and they’ve partnered the Center for Community Services to give back in the Golden Strip. Guests can bring a non-perishable canned good to the gate, and get in free! Also, rides are unlimited when you pay $15.
If traditional fair fare from funnel cakes to corn dogs isn’t enough, head to the Fair for the Team Rock Ninja Experience, Exotic Petting Zoo, High Wire Demonstrations, and Daily Helicopter Rides. Full scale rides for all ages fill the fairground to the left of the amphitheatre, and bracelets can be purchased for those able to keep up an entire day of fun. After 6pm each day a backdrop of live music will flow from the amphitheatre stage, and the lineup includes Doug McCormick and Spencer Rush.
The event is in its third year in Simpsonville, and has been a big hit for both families and music lovers.
The Fair lasts through May 28, and is located at Simpsonville’s Heritage Park, 861 SE Main Street.
