The new Hobby Lobby in Grand Central at Martin Farms will open in July for Simpsonville area customers. The store will feature 55,000 square feet full of crafting and hobby supplies.
This is the sixteenth location for Hobby Lobby in South Carolina, and one of more than 750 stores nationwide.
Bob Miller, Communications Coordinator for Hobby Lobby, had this to say about the new location, “The success of our stores in the South Carolina led us to look at Simpsonville. We think this is a great location and we are eager to get the doors open and become a part of the community.”
The store will be located on the corner of Fairview and Harrison Bridge Roads, in the same location as the new Publix. Hours will be Monday through Saturday, from 9am to 8pm. Hobby Lobby stores are closed on Sunday.
Grand Central at Martin Farms is a new retail development currently under construction in Simpsonville. Historically the property was used for farming, and was once owned by former Sheriff JR “Bob” Martin. The new construction intends to honor the past of the land while bringing in modern shopping for residents.
